    1. Regarding the replacement of antifreeze. Whether new or old drivers, when it comes to car maintenance in winter, the first thing they think of is antifreeze. When the car leaves the factory, the cooling system is filled with antifreeze, so a new car that has been in use for a year or two does not need to be cleaned. It only needs to be checked for any deficiencies, and if there are any deficiencies, it only needs to be added without replacement. Vehicles over three years old need to be given special attention. Different car manufacturers require different replacement cycles, with some requiring a three-year replacement and others requiring a five-year replacement. Therefore, it is necessary to refer to the maintenance manual of your own car and it is best to replace it when the replacement cycle arrives. According to experience observation and feedback from car owners, most cars have no problems with antifreeze after five years of use. Alternatively, you can check the freezing point at the 4S store. If it is too high and there is a risk of freezing when used locally, it must be replaced.

        
  2. Regarding the replacement of engine oil. Nowadays, all cars use four season engine oil, which means the same oil is used all year round, and there is no need to change the so-called winter engine oil specifically in winter. The viscosity grade of Four Seasons engine oil is either 5w or 0w, even in an environment of minus 20 to 30 degrees Celsius, there is no problem. Therefore, only when the maintenance interval is up can the oil be changed. In winter, there is no need to pipe the oil, and there has been no maintenance for a long time. Just check if the liquid level is normal.

        
        3. Regarding tire pressure. If the tire pressure is normal during summer, it will definitely decrease during winter. The temperature is in the twenties in summer and minus ten degrees in winter, with a temperature difference of over thirty degrees. Due to the thermal expansion and contraction of gases, the air pressure will also decrease by 0.2-0.3kg. Originally, it was charged to 2.5kg, but in winter it was only 2.2kg. Therefore, in winter, it is necessary to check the tire pressure and supplement it to the manufacturer's recommended standard value, without the need to charge it too high or too low. Too high or too low tire pressure has an impact on the lifespan of tires. If the tire is too high, it will bulge more and the rubber will bear more force. If it is too low, it will deform more and cause severe repeated bending during driving. In addition, abnormal tire pressure also has a significant impact on driving safety.

      
 4. Regarding the battery. Vehicles that have been in use for more than three years need to focus on battery testing. A battery tester should be used to measure the lifespan of the battery, which is available in 4S stores and stores selling batteries. Many cars have no problem using their batteries in summer, but they won't start up in winter because the battery life is over. The performance of the battery is closely related to the temperature, and the lower the temperature, the worse the battery performance. So in order to prevent the battery from running low and causing the vehicle to not start, it is necessary to check the battery life in advance.

        
5. Replacement of glass water. To switch to antifreeze glass water, choose a glass water with a suitable freezing point based on your local temperature situation. The freezing point is usually 5-10 degrees lower than the minimum temperature. For example, if the minimum temperature is minus 10 degrees Celsius, choosing a freezing point of minus 20 degrees Celsius is not a problem. The glass water used in summer must not be antifreeze, so remember to replace it, otherwise it will be very troublesome if it freezes. You can replace it yourself. It doesn't have a water outlet, just spray the old glass water and pour in the new one.

6. Regarding tires. According to the lifespan of tires, it is recommended to replace snow tires for vehicles in the southern region. In areas with more ice and snow weather in the Northeast, it is recommended to replace snow tires. They have better low-temperature resistance, larger tire patterns, better grip when driving on slippery roads, and better braking performance. In places with occasional ice and snow in the north, if you need to use the car every day, you can prepare a set of anti slip chains and install them if necessary.
